Christmas with the Glastetter's

Christmas eve found us at mom and dad's house.  Mom made a great dinner and then we opened presents.  It's always fun to watch what everyone gets and watch their reaction.  Adam and Andie got quilts this year from Grandma--I just can't describe how beautiful it is and I know the amount of time that went into making it--thanks so much!  Love you guys!

Christmas with the Petitt's

We celebrated Christmas with Paul's family the Sunday before Christmas.  We had a good meal, opened presents, and played cards.  It was baby Jack's first Christmas and I have to say , I think he really enjoyed it! Here are a few pics.  Thanks for everythings--we had a great time and it was great to see everyone.

Christmas is not only special because of the holiday, but some special people in our lives have birthdays.  BJ has a birthday on Dec 20 and Adam has a birthday on Dec 21.  We did what we could BJ to have Adam on your birthday, but that was out of our control.  We met BJ at Jasmine's for lunch and surprised her.  Here is Adam with his sparring gear and new bag for Tae Kwon Doe.

This year Adam will turn 11 !   We decided to have a surprise party for him, and have some kids spend the night.  He thought some kids might come on his real birthday but we had them come a few days early.  Paul and I took the kids out to eat at Hananoki where they make the food right in front of you.  It was awesome. It was not crowded at all and our cook was great with the boys.  I had the best time just watching their faces.  Can't believe Adam and his buddies are in 5th grade--time really does fly.  We came back to the house and had ice cream cake and the kids had a great time.  I just want to say this was one of the best nights we have had.  All the boys had great manners, it was not a screaming mess, just boys doing what boys do best--playing video games, laughing like boys do, and having fun.  Adam, you mean the world to me.  Thanks for being you--exuberant, unpredictable, and my little "Mr. Sunshine"!  Love you more than anything.

Golly, it's been a while since I posted.  Mom and Dad celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during Thanksgiving break and I am just now getting around to posting something.  We all had an amazing time and almost too much to talk about, but just thought I would post lots of pictures.  We love you mom and dad and grandma and grandpa!!!
