This summer Adam has joined the Orange Waves swim team in Calvert City. We started practicing down at Murray in May b/c they have an enclosed pool then they practiced at the Calvert City Country Club. They have had several meets and it has been so neat to watch him swim this summer. Now, he is not the fastest by any means, but he has learned to do the butterfly, breaststroke, backstroke, and freestyle. I bet he swims 5-6 laps per meet plus warm up laps being about the same. He is usually exhausted and hungry at the end, but I have loved every minute of it. He gets a ribbon for every event that he participates in and if he or the relay team get first, then they get beads (necklaces) which is just something fun to get. In the above pictures, Adam is diving in two of them, doing the breaststroke, the backstroke, and freestyle. Here he is also with his best buds Caleb and Cody just hanging out waiting their turn to swim.
