oh we're awesome!!

This past Saturday, Miranda, all 4 boys, and me participated in a 1 mile "race".  We had the option of a 5K or the 1 mile........was there ever a question as to which one we would pick?  We had to wait for the 5K to get done but what we had to do was to run around this HUGE track, then the first obstacle was to do a belly crawl under a maze of string, then run some more, through a ditch of water, then up some tires, jog over to the mud pit!!  The fire truck was there hosing down the mud pit---it was about 2 1/2 -3 foot deep of cold water!  So you jumped into this muddy water with the fire truck spraying water on you , walked through this water and then out.  That water took your breath away---but what an amazing time!!  Andrew beat us all cause that boy loves to run.  Needless to say, Adam and Mommy came in near the end.  This was an event to raise money for the new free health clinic going in at Benton, KY.  Then after you got out of the mud pit, there was a huge plastic slide they were hosing down with water and we "rinsed off".  Fun, fun, fun, but now I am sore, sore, sore!!!!
