Labor Day Weekend

Hi everyone. We had a great 3 day weekend. Friday evening Andrew had a scrimmage game against another baseball team and it was fun. The coaches helped all the kids practice really well instead of being a win-win game. On Saturday, Adam had a double header so we were in the sun from 11-3. Needless to say, we got a little sunburned. Then we headed over to Cody's birthday party. Lots of kids running around, it was great. Sunday and MOnday, Ben and Paul worked on the deer stand/treehouse , so the kids and I decided to head to MIssouri. The boys got to play with their littlest cousin, Andie. They taught her to play hide and seek, so now I guess Kim will have to play "hide" when they get back home! She is a cutie! While we were at Mom and Dad's we went out to mom's apple tree. The apples were pretty big and really sweet. Here is a picture of Andrew up on a ladder picking "another perfect one mom!" We came home with lots of apples--yummy!
Here is a picture of Paul and Ben working on the steps. They have put lots of time and planning into this. So far looks really good, but they have a long way to go. Deer season is right around the corner!!! Keep on working on the "man cave" fellas, Miranda and I will be just fine back at the house.....or at the mall!
