This past weekend we enjoyed a campout with our cub scout and webelo.  We tent camped at Dixon Springs in Illinois.  We got up there Friday night and set up our tents, the boys helped to make stew, and then we had smores.  Saturday was beautiful and we went for a long hike and while we hiked the boys had a scavenger list that they were to collect.  Had hotdogs over the fire with sticks that they had to whittle themselves, went for another short hike on some rocks, the boys made bird houses, and PJ and Paul taught them about fishing.  We made hamburgers in foil packs over the hot coals for supper then most people headed out Saturday night.  We were all exhausted but I think the boys really had a great time.
