HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM!!!

Holy cow, our big ole boy is 9 years old!!! We can't believe that we've been parents for 9 years but most importantly , we're happy that the kids have survived! We had big plans for Adam's birthday, however, Adam started coughing Monday night, and by Tuesday morning, he was so congested in his head and chest and running a fever, that he literally laid on the couch alllllll day. He didnt even feel good enough to go to the movies. But Andrew piped up and said,"how about me mom, I feel good now!" (b/c he's had strep throat and on antibiotics since this weekend). So how could I turn that down. We headed to the movies that afternoon and left Adam and Paul both sick at home. We gave Adam a snowboard and PS3 wireless remote, and Andrew gave him a Donkey Kong Wii game. Luckily we had Adam's favorite supper a night early---steak and baked potatoes! (that is not a beer bottle in front of him,it's Country Bob's steak sauce!) Happy Birthday baby, we love you so much and hope you get to feeling better. It's just not the same when you're calm, quiet, and laying around!
